Terms & Conditions

1. Formation

These Terms and Conditions govern the contract between you (the customer) and The Aberdeen Plumbers. Any variation must be agreed in writing.

2. Services Provided

We provide plumbing and heating services to domestic and commercial customers across Aberdeen and the wider North East.

3. Bookings and Cancellations

Bookings can be made via phone, WhatsApp, or our website. If you cancel within 1 hour of your scheduled booking window (e.g. 9am–12pm), a £70 late cancellation fee may apply.

4. Pricing & Estimates

All pricing will be confirmed before any work begins. Estimates are valid for 30 days. If costs change due to factors outside our control (such as supplier price increases), we will inform you before proceeding.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may be subject to interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

6. Access & Site Conditions

You must ensure safe, legal, and unobstructed access to the property. Any delays caused by restricted access may result in additional charges.

7. Warranty and Workmanship Guarantee

We provide a 30-day workmanship guarantee from the date of completion. Manufacturer warranties apply to all parts and materials supplied.

8. Liability

The Aberdeen Plumbers is not liable for pre-existing faults, indirect or consequential losses, or issues caused by external factors such as subsidence or frozen pipes. Nothing in this clause excludes liability for personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Health & Safety

You must inform us of any known hazards on site prior to work commencing. We reserve the right to stop work if conditions are deemed unsafe.

10. Use of Website

All website content is owned by The Aberdeen Plumbers and may not be reproduced or reused without written permission.

11. Privacy & Data

We respect your privacy and comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Scotland. The Scottish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
